The trek of the pair took only about half a day, a day spent in almost complete silence, so they reached his terrain before it was even suppose to get warm in other places. Not here, in the Mountains it got to just the right temperature. Lithium's hair had grown thick from having to live under such conditions and he knew that Eriss' wouldn't started to truly grow until her body realized that she was stuck in this unforgiving landscape and must to survive. Soon, the stinging chill and wind would be like a little fly biting her, not bothering her in the least bit. That was one of the many reasons Lithium had chosen this land. Only a completely sadistic brute such as himself would want to step foot on a land such as this. There were better darq terrains, ones that were actually hospitable, but this one belonged to a true darq, one that not even the elements could keep him away from the prize that he sought.
Their daggers finally touched the rock that covered the whole land as the mountains before them loomed like giants just sitting there. Snow gathered at the top of these mountains, all except the one closest to them. Seeing the land made him smile with glee at his find. No one else in this world could find a terrain as perfect as his. The way that the temperature felt on his thick fur, how the mountains loomed overhead like giants guarding the land, where his post raised up high enough to survey the whole land for any intruder that dare have the audacity to enter his terrain. Yes, it was perfect and no one could ever tell him that it wasn't. Sure, the weather liked to change as often as Lithium's mood, but there was nothing to be done about that.
As glorious as the land was though, it still felt empty. He missed the days that mares poked their skulls out of caves that rose above the land in fear and then when they saw him they instantly fled to the back of their caves. That sight made him shiver with happiness. Fear was something that Lithium loved and quite often fed off of. Without fear, the world would be a dull and boring place.
"Your going to want to come with me." Lithium said, turning his skull to look at Eris as he kept marching on toward his main cave, his home, his lair. The wind whipped his banner every which way, sending his banner into a frenzy and making it land messily on his thick neck. But he held his skull low to the ground to save it from too much damage. As their climb began Lithiums' daggers grabbed at the rough terrain. This was all easy for him, he had the blood of a mustang and Arabian in his bulk which had already helped him just survive in this area. He had no idea what ancestry Eris was, she had the slender head and body of an Arabian but one would never know. Though, if she had some blood of something that was known for it's thick hair, she would do much better.
Finally, their journey was over. Deep into the cave he went, pausing at the entry and waiting for her to catch up to him. She would have to stay in here for a couple days to get used to this chill that seeped into ones bones until they could no longer feel it. He almost felt bad for her, almost. Lithium barely ever felt pity, it wasn't in his nature to feel such a thing to begin with, but such a beautifully dark creature deserved some kind of compassion.
"You'll have to stay in here for a few days to get used to this temperature." Lithium said, turning to her from the back of the cave. For some reason he was being nice. Was it just a facade that he put on or was it something else? Of course, he would bring the mare food and there was already a pool of water that collected because of a spring that conveniently ran through the cave so she wouldn't require leaving. He was treating her like a queen, giving her anything she desired. But he had yet to give her that lead position, to name her his queen.

Often, in times like these, when one sees a maiden and brute walking side-by-side, saying nothing, one might think that the little bitch had gotten herself in too deep of trouble for words to even be said. Another might think it's a pair of secret lovers, leaving the scene of an affair. And there's always the third, more sick-minded one, thinking that the knight may have decided the little vixen was a perfect pawn in another raping. It's been far too common now for the delicate minx of the kingdoms and neutral grounds to be violated left and right. But lucky for Eris, who nurtured a great hate in wrong thoughts, there were few others around to make those assumptions. Instead the whore-damsel, whichever she was more notorious for, walked in silence alongside the Arabic white knight who had ushered her from the public spotlight to a quieter, more private place away from the eyes of the audience. Originally, Eris had thought that the life of a celebrity was the only life for her, but now Eris enjoyed being away from starbright gazers. However, the longer she was exposed to the new beauty of her life, the more and more disgusted she was with her bipolar attitude. Regalia by day, whore by night. And the more Eris wished there was a cure for it. But how the hell do you fix an infertile 'ess? The question boggled Eris. How was she supposed to stay like this until nighttime - she doubted her disgusting, lusting urges wold settle at her liking. If they did, Eris wouldn't have them anymore.
Almost every night, it seemed, Eris was engulfed by another craving for that seductive sensation that she now found so wretched. Going from that elegant dame to that brooding seductress that only came out at night. Twas a shame, really, as Eris loved the night and would rather not spend it going around advertising her virginity. At least - that's what Eris though she still had. It was hard to tell, when your infertile. No idea if she had ever gotten raped or not. But now, beside Lithium, she knew she would find out in time. Whether she could carry or not, Lithium was bound to seek his own, masculine pleasures from her. It was what she was famous for. But what Eris didn't know - she didn't even know if she was willing to attempt this or not - was what would happen if she was taken under Lithium in the day. Eris had always felt willing to play that little game at night, the shameless whore. But in the day, the game turned into a matter of life and was completely lost in interest to her. Only time would tell how that internal battle would work itself out. If it ever could... that was a thought Eris shook from her head as she tossed her mane free of clinging pieces of broken off and dry foliage. The thinning vegetation and cooling temperatures told her that she and Lithium were nearing the rockier, mountainous terrains - where the king made his home, now obviously.
The temperature was dropping and the cold began to sting. The only area of her body Eris found any warm comfort in was her serpentine boa, where it was sheltered by her thick tassels. Arabians usually didn't have curtains as thick and heavy as hers, but living rougher than those prissy little show ponies would definitely strengthen the horses out here. The topography was changing from warm and grassy, that jade stalks damp under her flints from the humidity, to frigid and mountainous. Eris, who was quite surefooted, was able to walk quite easily over the rocks of her new home. Home. The word sounded odd now. Huge mounds loomed in the distance, snowcapped and almost purple in color. The mountain that was closest to the two was not whiteheaded and didn't look as shadowy purple as the others in the distance, but brown and dry, like a mountain was. Despite the harsh and cold, the terra was splendid and majestic, something that seemed to cancel out the other two downsides of living there, at least almost. Still, Eris's fur was thin, and the cold penetrated it easily - soon, she hoped, it would be prematurely growing into her winter pelt. Her breath was beginning to billow out into the air like smoke, faint but there. The valleys of the new terrain felt so lonely. It may even feel warmer if there was more than Eris and Lithium. The terra seemed to expand far, room for a large harem. Lithium seemed like a great king, that would rule the kingdom with dignity. Lithium deserved more than one mere dame - but that would change in time, and Eris wouldn't be the only one for long, she knew.
Eris took in the sights of Lithium's land as they trekked deeper into the mountains. It was a beautiful place, truly, but also seemed so deceiving with its harsh landscape. As her gaze scanned over the towering peaks and low vegetation, she saw Lithium grin. Curiosity welled in Eris's mind of what would make the behemoth so happy, but her mind didn't work the same way as his, a brutess and a czar. Only God knew what he was thinking - or Satan, whichever. Her gaze did not rest on him for long, however, as she began to map out the trail they were following, and memorize the mountains and deep black dots of caves. It would take longer than a mere stroll through the trails to remember such things, but Eris figured if she was going to survive in this unforgiving wasteland, she might as well beginning tracing it now. Her auds became adjusted to the winter-like silence and the rested lazily, not paying attention to the sounds of the world around her. There was little to listen to anyway, for there was no calls of birds and the few birds she saw, raptors and birds of prey, made no sound as the circled above. Her senses were mainly sight now as she watched her step and took in the view as she walked beside Lithium down this quite fresh and barren trail. Her nares flared, inhaling the sharp new scent of the mountains - cold, sliding too easily into her lungs, biting the thin velvet skin. Eris would have to become used to breathing this air, an air that was almost comfortable to inhale.
"Your going to want to come with me." Lithium's voice broke the silence, making Eris's lobes alert and her gaze turn to him again, her amaranth stained pools meeting his chocolate ones. His blank locks whipped like a wildfire down his nape, flashing streaks of brilliant blue. His crown was carried low, and Eris had to angle her view down ever so slightly to see him properly. The ground began to incline and Eris looked back again, almost effortlessly pulling herself up. She knew that she was not as used to climbing as Lithium, and she knew that by the end of their journey her muscles might be strained and sore. But that was how the strengthened, and Eris would forget about the pain within moments. If there was a pain in it at all. Angling her view up slightly, Eris saw a cave not far from them, one larger than the others Eris had seen on their way here. That was the cave Lithium was most likely taking her, a place to rest after the hours they had spent walking. It wasn't too hard, with the stamina of an Arabian, but by the end of their trek they might be worn down a bit. Besides, they needed to sleep somewhere - the sun appeared to be lowering in the sky. The cave was close now, just a few more strides away until they would walk on the flat cave floor. Eris wasn't that tired and her muscles were not as sore as she thought they'd be, but walking for long distances was quite boring to the young vix, who often was as easily bored as a small colt.
Within moments all four of Eris's limbs were in the warmer cave, following Lithium deeper into the shadows. "You'll have to stay in here for a few days to get used to this temperature." Lithium said, halting and turning back to face her. Eris nodded, eyes grazing over the pool of water that was spread over a fraction of the cave. "Yes, the air is quite frigid here. Not what you'd think a king with Arabian blood would reside in." Eris's voice had a slightly teasing tone to it, a grin spreading across her velvets. Her gaze returned to the pool of water and, unnecessarily crossing the few strides and lowering her crania to drink. The water was not as freezing as she thought it would be, but still refreshing and felt good on her slightly dry throat. She lifted her head and nodded her thanks to Lithium for bringing her here, an action even Eris found quite shocking. Rarely did she show gratitude to anyone, or anything. But perhaps it was that Lithium was now her king that made Eris feel some sort of respect to him. Though she wasn't sure how she would get food from the cave without leaving it, there was grass sticking out from the rocks and crevices outside the entrance, which was most likely enough food for the few days Lithium had said she would be in here. Then again... as Eris thought about it, she realized it was not a lot of grass at all. Well, she'd figure something out.

And can't stop myself From looking And noticing you Noticing me Watch out I've seen her type before That girl is so dangerous
Such silence bothered the stud not. In fact he preferred silence as he strode around his land with such exuberance that he could be compared to a young foal being given a toy for the first time. Only screeching predatory birds dared utter any kind of sign while Lithium was around. That power, the kind that made everything stop and look in respect was something that Lithium loved so much. Not a single predator ever looked twice at the stud, taking his markings into account and seemingly to think that they represented poison, exactly what he was. Lithium was a poison that seeped through the skin as soon as you touched it, he loved to get under other equines' skin, to manipulate the bulk into doing whatever he desired. Power. It was something that he loved more than he would his heir.
His chamber was just as warm was when he had left it. A light layer of dust and frozen mud clung to the walls. Stalactites hung from the ceiling, framing the whole thing and making it only seem larger. One could jump as high as they could and never would they touch a single stalactite, not even the oldest of them that stretched towards the ground, just waiting until it could touch it's cousin stalagmite. As far as width though, the cave was not as large. Eight horses could stand side by side and fit comfortably in between each opening. No, it wasn't as grand as the ceiling, but it was no less regal in its appearance. The opening of the cave resembled a mouth, it hung sort of low, making it perfect to keep the snow and cold out. Though it was the spring in the back that miraculously continued running even with the frigged temperature outside that really heated the whole cave. As he walked in, the heat lapped at his skin, as if greeting an old friend.
Her vocals met his auds' the first ones he had heard her utter since she had left. A tingle of excitement ran through his body as he swung around. In a flash his muzzle was touching hers, their breaths mixing and steam rising from them, giving his vision a clouded view, "I'm not any normal Arabian king," he uttered smoothly, adding as much compassion into the words as he could muster... and then she pulled away, walked right over to the water and took a long drink. Lithium felt disappointed, his heart dropped and his aud's pinned back secretly as she drank. Never before had a mare just walked away from such a gesture as he had just performed.
He strolled up to her, going to try again, she was his prize and he was going to win her over, make her want him so bad and then he could just ignore her, but only then could he pretend she didn't exist, only when she was pinning for him to be near her would he be satisfied. His ivories grazed the soft flesh of her withers, then her neck and as he reached her aud he stopped. Soft kissers pulled back over the deadly teeth, hiding them again. "What is your lineage?" was all he said, nothing romantic or passionate came to his mind so he went with the first thing that came to mind. Such a boring question, but the only one he could think to muster.
I see you got that fire By the way That you walkin'
